# IV. DeFi Debit Card

DeFi debit card acts as a bridge between the decentralized world of cryptocurrencies and the established fiat-based financial system, providing a seamless way to convert and spend crypto assets. The card would allow real-time conversion of crypto assets into fiat currency at the point of sale. This means that when a user swipes their DeFi Debit Card, the system automatically converts the required amount of cryptocurrency from their wallet into fiat currency, making the transaction smooth and hassle-free.

This real-time conversion eliminates the need for users to manually convert their crypto holdings into fiat before making a purchase, saving time and reducing friction in the payment process. Furthermore, this interoperability makes DeFi assets more practical and usable in everyday scenarios, bringing them closer to mainstream acceptance.

Users who have staked their assets on the RCO platform can easily withdraw or convert a portion of those assets for spending via their DeFi Debit Card, without needing to go through traditional banks or financial intermediaries.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://rcofinance.gitbook.io/whitepaper/architecting-the-solution/iv.-defi-debit-card.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
